To compose we need the proper amount of Carbon and Nitrogen ratio so we can use dried leaves for carbon and some newspaper's or cardboard for nitrogen.

  • Mix organic waste, leaves, papers, grass etc, also don't forget to moisten the shredded dry pieces

  • keep this mixture on the compost bin and leaving some space on the top and cover the compost with a trap to lock the moisture. You can stir periodically with a shovel to help them to break down.

You can use animal, plant waste

You should avoid meat, fish scraps in a compost bin.

A properly managed compost bin will not produce any odor and the mulch should get ready from two months to two years. You can also make a compost pile indoor in a small space. You can need to keep record of waste going in the bin and your manure should get ready within two to five weeks.
